I Shine.

I Shine.

The shades of colours showed my personality, These jewelry are only but my accessories. The makeup is to cover up my anxiety, for reproach was my fame.

I was left to strive, a single bride; The altar was empty as I walked the aisle. Where were they? Where was he? Abandoned was my new name. Those scenes keep playing in my mind as I think, that’s why my eyes don’t blink.

But as desperate as I seemed, And as sorrowful as my situation gleamed; Giving up was not an option. I stood tall and fought all the rejection, keeping my tears behind all the deception.

They refused to give me attention, So I put on this new face; With no one to turn to, this new life gave me grace. Now I shine, representing my faith. Now I shine, overcoming the shame.
