THE HIPPO.

THE HIPPO.

Toothless yet sharp, Biggest yet fast, Blind yet fierce, Largest yet buoyant.

As calm as I seem, Still stay afar from the streams, as you take a gleam. As happy as I swim, Still don’t range my territory, as you take a gleam.

I may be friendly, or maybe not; I may be playful, or maybe not; My surroundings may soothe your eyes, But don’t let it fool your mind.

I am grand and in charge; I am tough and rough. Nature respects my growl, and even the king knows I’m the boss.

I am The Hippo.

If you enter my bank, better stay on your side; Don’t cross the line, or you may just return dead to land.
