Though an Orphan

Though an Orphan

Joy is all I could see, As I looked into his eyes. After another day of striving, He had something to look foward to; Without hesitation or procrastinating in his mind.

His eyes sparkled like the evening star, Though reflecting his pain and suffering; Those thoughts didn’t withhold his smile. He basked in the gaze of the sun,¬† As he splashed the water while the river ran.

He is only but a boy, but has had experience due to fortune; Left to fend for himself, Yet his soul is filled with hope. Thrive on young one, your world has just begun; Though an Orphan, his destiny still shone.
