Three students from the Department of Petroleum Engineering, University of Ibadan, Nigeria have emerged third place at an international competition called MOL FRESHHH. The team which goes by the name “Awo Omoluabi” is made up of 3 students named: Olanipekun Faisal, Sola-Aremu Pelumi and Oladipo Tunde.
These team of 3 students competed with over 8000 teams of students and experts from more than 40 countries in the world and emerged 2nd runner up which comes with a prize money of £5000 and an opportunity to run a graduate programme called Growww which would be sponsored by the MOLGROUP. This is the first time a Nigerian team has ever won at the international competition which held in Budapest, Hungary ever since its inception. All of us @ Tell! would love to congratulate the team on their achievement of this outstanding feat. You guys have made Nigeria proud!
ABOUT MOL FRESHHH
MOL Freshhh is an online international student competition, where students in teams of 3 members have to take over the management of an integrated oil corporation. Make decisions on field development projects, build refinery for different products and find the best product portfolio, and set strategy on gas station network where aim is to make profit by expanding, investment network portfolio. The top 8 teams of the Freshhh competition get the opportunity to take part in the Live Final event, and the best students can be potential joiners of MOL Group’s fresh graduate programme, Growww.

- On-line Qualification Round – Strategy Simulation Game in 3 parts: Upstream, Downstream and Retail
- Semifinal – for TOP 40 teams: technology-focused case studies and professional quizzes
- Live Final – organized for TOP 8 teams in Budapest, Hungary
