Brittany wouldn’t lie that she was heartbroken for sometime. She could feel her heart bleeding every time she cried. She was hurt. Why would he leave her?
He knew she loved him so much and she wanted to be with him forever. It was so hurtful that he just decided to end things. Everyday she stared at his picture and wanted him to come back.
They had so much fun together. Not to mention of their intimacy. It was bliss everytime she was with him and she knew, she knew he felt good too.
She didn’t know what she even did to deserve that break up. And it was what she was always afraid of.
She had finished watching the Chucky series over macaroni and cheese. It was funny how she kept on laughing while victims were stabbed. Maybe it was because she was heartbroken. Or so.
Her phone beeped and the screen lit up. It was a text from him. Jake.
“Come meet me at McDonald’s. Our usual spot.” It read.
Her face lit up and she started smiling. She then cleaned up messed up face.
“No. I need a shower.” She said and ran into the bathroom taking off her clothes in a hurry.
As she rushed up her bathing, she stood in front of the mirror and looked at herself. Then she began to dance. Suddenly, she slipped and fell hitting her head on the edge of the bathtub.
Jake sat patiently, chewing on a drumstick of chicken. He took a sip of the coca-cola on the table. Then he looked at his watch.
“Is she gonna come?” He asked himself and shook his head. “Well, not after how I broke up with her for no reason at all.”
“Hello Jake.” A voice startled him and he looked up. He smiled up at the figure.
“Brittany, you came.” He said and stood up, hugging her tightly.
“Did you miss me?” She asked, giving a smirk.
“I did and…you look so good.” He remarked.
“Thank you Jake.” She replied sweetly. “Can I join you?” She asked, eyeing his chicken.
“I could get you a new one…” He offered.
“Oh, never mind. I’ll just do with this.”
“I’m really sorry for breaking up with you the way I did. It wasn’t intentional I swear. I was just going through a lot.” He said and she smiled.
“It’s alright. I knew that you’d come back to me. You know what, let’s just go home. Okay?”
“Really?” He asked.
He stood up and helped her up. Both of them walking to his car.
As he drove, she talked about how much she had missed him.
“I really missed you too.” He replied.
“You know what, baby?” She asked, her hands going in between his thighs while she kissed his ear. He closed his eyes and opened them back again.
“It’s gonna be as though. I wasn’t here.” She said and gave him one last kiss. Then all he felt was cold air. He turned to his side to see no one. Then all he heard was the blaring noise of a trailer.
