WHERE IS OUR AFRICA?

I ponder on this every day,
That where is now the home of our Africa?
Our mother tongue has been enslaved by the foreign diction,
Our Fuji and Apala have been substituted for the western pop
I can’t forget the sleeve of Agbada, Buba and Iro,
Which has been imprisoned for Suit and skirt

The aggressive Litigation came to arrest
our Gentle Dialogue Resolution,
Our Oba’s turned to mirage in our Administration,
What should we call the so-called modifying?
Oh! we still lost our Shining black to bleaching platforms

Our cocoa, our golds, our diamonds
Now work as servants to beverages and Necklaces
Where do we lay our heads?
They are now being controlled by foreign remote.

So Where is our Africa?
We are enslaved physically, Spiritually and mentally
Who is going to remind Africa of her forgotten culture?
Where is the Messiah?
Who will free Africa from Mental Slavery?
